Bat Wings for Lab Rats' style emphasizes catchy songwriting, thoughtful lyrics, and a penchant for the unpredictable. Incorporating elements of hip hop, punk rock, and psychedelic rock into their signature style, Bat Wings for Lab Rats released their debut album, "Punk-Hop-A-Delic" in July 2010. This album garnered many successful headlining shows as well as gigs opening up for national acts such as Kottonmouth Kings and The Revolting Cocks.
With the release of the EP "Make It Red" in 2011, the band was invited to play the Ernie Ball Stage on the Vans Warped Tour. Later that fall, they became the first unsigned band in history to perform live at the Playboy Club in Las Vegas.
Currently in the studio hammering out their third album, Bat Wings for Lab Rats are preparing to release their most dexterous, defiant sound to date. The band anticipates this album will break down barriers and usher in untold opportunities by once again capturing their live performance energy on a studio crafted album.
